Emerge NNY was conceived by a core group of young professionals who live and work in Northern New York. These individuals recognized that the region was experiencing a “brain drain,” or loss of educated, ambitious young people who left the north country to live and work elsewhere. The goal of the Emerge NNY summit is to:
ENCOURAGE creativity, entrepreneurial spirit and innovation in the North Country,
EMPOWER those who wish to impact the direction which the area advances,
EMBOLDEN those who don’t believe that they have a voice,
EXCITE young professionals who live and work in the region,
ENACT a new way of thinking about what we as young professionals can accomplish in our community. Whether your inspiration lies in business, political affairs, culture, arts, entertainment, or all of the above, Emerge NNY wants you to voice your opinions and join others to mold and shape your ideas into action.
